“We were referred by another roofing company as our old roofer no longer installed wood shakes. I contacted Jose from Valley Construction and he promptly set up a time to come over and look at our job to give us an estimate. He gathered the information on our roof job and provided us an estimate within a day. The price that Jose quoted was very fair. We agreed on a time that he could come to do the job. When the day arrived Jose brought the materials over at 7:30 and his crew arrived just after eight and begin installing scaffolding for the job. Initially, there were three workers that arrived, and later on in the morning, three more arrived. In a matter of a couple hours, they had the old roof removed and began installing the new cedar shakes. The crew work very efficiently and did an outstanding job. The job was completed in one day. The area was cleaned up and It looked like nobody had been there at all during the day. The crew was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our concerns.  “Jose and team did a fantastic job on our 100 year old upstairs downstairs two family. With any building this old no wall is plumb or straight. As an example one window dropped about two inches from side to side. The team took care of this and many other issues without a hitch. After a year everything is perfect. A neighbor to this rental property hired a different contractor and had problems with siding and trim work falling away from the house after the first winter. However we selected him because we believed he would provide the best work.  His team of installers were very respectful of our property, kept the work site clean and worked very hard in 90+ degree heat. They also answered all our questions and Jose checked in several times on the job site to ensure things were running smoothly. When Jose caught a mistake by the supplier (not Jose) he came up with a plan to work around it and quickly acquired the right color needed. And that is why you would want to hire Jose and his team.
